The detainee complained of chest pains and was immediately transported to the Camp Bucca field hospital by the medics. The detainee went into cardiac arrest while in the intensive care unit and died after all life-saving efforts failed to resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead at 2:05 p.m. by an attending physician.
